Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre

A Recovery and Rehabilitation Centre has recently been constructed at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre (QSAC), to further develop the venue as a Centre for Sporting Excellence.

The new facility compliments and expands upon the Queensland Academy of Sport's (QAS) training facilities and is predominantly used by QAS athletes and elite sports training squads for physiotherapy, injury treatment and rehabilitation.

The $10 million facility was completed in early 2008 allowing time for the QAS's Olympic athletes to incorporate the services as part of their training programs in the lead up to the Beijing Olympics in late August 2008.
